Whistleblowing

PARTNERS INVESTMENTS, o.c.p., a.s., registered office: Einsteinova 24, 851 01 Bratislava – Petržalka, Slovak Republic, CRN: 52 413 179, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Bratislava III City Court, Section: Sa, File No.: 6941/B (hereinafter only the “Company”) deems compliance with applicable legal regulations, ethics, and moral principles to be of paramount importance as concerns all stakeholders - the Company, its employees, and cooperating partners.

Any behaviour that contradicts the Company´s internal code of ethics, applicable legal regulations, and other moral standards is inacceptable for the Company. The Company defines anti-social activities in compliance with Act 54/2019 on protection of whistleblowers, as amended (hereinafter only the “Act”), as follows:

  • behaviour which constitutes a criminal offence,
  • behaviour which constitutes a misdemeanour or administrative offence,
  • any behaviour that does not constitute a misdemeanour or administrative offence, but has negative impacts on the Company, for instance, bullying at work (mobbing, bossing), behaviour resulting in a conflict of interest, acceptance of a gift or entertainment contrary to the Company´s internal rules, etc.

Timely detection of such activities helps the Company mitigate damages and/or completely prevent any damage being caused to its clients, partners, employees, or the Company itself.

In the area of whistleblowing, our aim is to ensure, in particular, that whistleblowing is carried out in an efficient, accessible and, above all, secure manner without fear of retaliation.

Any anti-social behaviour encountered by the Company´s employees or other persons cooperating with the Company (whistleblowers) in the course of their activities may be reported using the special and independent means of communication established exclusively for this purpose.

Should you have any information about anti-social activities within the Company or any breach of relevant rules, please, provide it to the Company along with all documents available to you in one of the following ways:

  • Via e-mail to the address:

  • By a written report to the address:
    PARTNERS INVESTMENTS, o.c.p., a.s.
    Einsteinova 24, 851 01 Bratislava
    The envelope should contain the text: “Whistleblowing – DO NOT OPEN”
  • Personally, after arranging an appointment via an e-mail message sent to the above address:
    addressed to the Whistleblowing Officer communicated in accordance with the Company´s internal rules.

A report should contain the following particulars:

  • identification of the facts indicating an anti-social activity,
  • description of the anti-social activity and the reasons why it is deemed anti-social,
  • identification of the place and time of the anti-social activity,
  • identification of the persons, where possible, who have carried out the antisocial activity,
  • where available, written documents and/or identification of other evidence proving the existence of the antisocial activity.

The Company will confirm receipt of a report within seven (7) days from the receipt date. Every delivered report will be subject to investigation carried out in compliance with internal procedures, valid legislation, and the Act.

During the report related investigation, the secrecy of all facts, including the identity of the whistleblower, will be strictly observed by the Whistleblowing Officer and by all persons whom the Whistleblowing Officer has deemed necessary to invite to participate in the investigation.

The above communication channels are intended exclusively for whistleblowing purposes. Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that any complaint under applicable legal regulations should be sent to the following e-mail address: info@partnersinvestments.sk, for instance. For the avoidance of doubts, a complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction addressed to the Company by a natural or legal person in relation to the provision of services or the activities subject to the supervision by Národná banka Slovenska under Act 566/2001 on securities and investment services, as amended.
